Echelon withdrawn from the 62nd military base delivered to Russia

The echelon loaded with weapons and military equipment withdrawn from Russian 62nd military base in Akhalkhalak, Georgia, was delivered to Russian military men at Yalama station in Azerbaijan at 13:00 today.

As APA reports, the echelon passed Azerbaijan without any incident.

The Interior Troops soldiers, military group from the 62nd base and the State Railway Company’s militarized security group ensured the security of the echelon.

The echelon consisted of 15 wagons loaded with 3 T-72 and one Y-34 tanks, six BRDM-2, three BTC-4 and 100 tonnes of anti-tank missiles.

One more echelon loaded with weapons, military supplies and equipment will start off from Salka railway station on 22 August.
