Several persons injured during a conflagration in Yasamal district

Main Fire Safety Department of the Emergencies Ministry informed about several injured persons due a heavy fire occured in a newly-erected high-rise apartment building in capital's Yasamal district.

"Some civilians and three fire-brigades' members were injured mainly by acrid smoke. Conflagration has been extinguished," source in the Department informed Interfax news agency.

"2,500 sq m were enveloped in flames. Mainly scaffolds and timber shutterings were burnt. Cause of a fire is under investigation by a special commission," Department's official said.
