National U-17 football squad to attend Palanga Tournament

Azerbaijan's Under-17 national football team will attend the international tournament in Palanga, Lithuania, August 16-23.

The Azeri football players are drawn with Georgia, Poland and Bulgaria.

The second group has Russia, Lithuania, Latvia and Ukraine.

The tournament is a preparation for Azeri senior coach Yashar Vahabzade's boys before a qualification round of the European championship, which will be held in Baku.

Azerbaijani team will face Latvia, Ireland and Denmark in this round.
