Azeri national women footbal team defeats Lithuania

Azerbaijan 19-year-old female footballers have gained their first victory at the international Baltic Cup started in Lithuania.

Senior coach Boris Tibilov's girls sealed 5:1 victory over Lithuania. Azerbaijan national team is going to clash with Latvia and Estonia. The tournament will wrap up July 30.

The main objective of participation in the tournament is to gear for the European championship qualification matches to be held in Baku from September 26 to October 2.
