Renowned Azeri academician dies at 78

An honored scientific figure, Mirzajanzada is the author of many discoveries. He worked out the principles of hydrodynamics for the drilling of wells in complicated conditions and was the first scholar to develop the systemic analysis of technological processes of oil and gas production. He also developed and applied the dynamic methods of tapping offshore oil fields.

Mirzajanzada had been president of the International East Oil Academy since 1993. Over 300 scientific works by the academician were published in Azerbaijan and abroad, assA-Irada informs.
