Peace and Democracy Institute director holds press conference

According to APA, she said the Institute implemented a program to find judges committed grievous irregularities.

The director said they will announce judges of the first instance courts, who committed grievous irregularities in considering civil cases.

Leyla Yunus list includes the names of judges from Sabayil district Alim Namazov, Yusif Karimov, Firuze Aghasiyeva, from Garadagh district Khuraman Maharramova, Gulnare Taghizadeh from Nasimi district as well as Isa Ismayilov and Shahin Abdulayev from Yasamal district. The human rights activist also said the Institute will go on conducting such monitoring.

The Supreme Court's press service informs that the list compiled by Leyla Yunus is unbiased.

"Judges in Azerbaijan are fair enough. Necessary actions are taken about some shortfalls."
