Right defenders to visit Gobustan prison

Chingiz Ganizade has told APA, that some prisoners and their family members have informed them about unacceptable conditions inside of detention place, and asked them to visit the prison.

They stated that prisoners hold hunger strike, though it has not found its official confirmation. "We want to observe the situation there by ourselves. Before, Justice Ministry rejected our appeal with regard to holding monitoring in Gobustan. But recently we applied to justice minister Fikrat Mammadov and got positive answer to our appeal."

Chingiz Ganizade informed that he will hold monitoring together with counterparts Novella Jafaroglu, Seide Gojamanli, Seadet Benenyarli and Sahib Mammadov.
