Iranian ambassador asks Azerbaijanis' support for return of Iran's cultural heritage

Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan called on all Azerbaijani structures, institutions as well as juridical, political and social organizations to exert pressure on international organizations in order to achieve return of Iran's cultural heritage taken by the USA 70 years ago.

"Iranian people have never given up their rights and never will and will use any possible means to return its historical and cultural heritage," Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan told APA.

The historical and cultural works kept at Chicago University will be put into auction by the decision of the US Federal Court and the income will be delivered to the people damaged in the explosions in Jerusalem, Israel.
