Justice Minister held press conference

The minister has stated that this year series of significant documents related to the justice system has been adopted, as well as Regulations 'On Justice Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan' was confirmed, and law 'On service in Justice Organs' were adopted.

"In the first year of this year about 1000 law, order, decree and other documents projects were given an opinion. In the last 5 years 544 law and other normative acts projects have been prepared, and reference was given to 3583 this kind of documents."

Mammadov stated that USAID organization and national legislation electronic information base has been created and being placed on the ministry's web page.

"In the first six month of 2006 in the Ministry of Justice about 8000 appeal were looked into, 3000 citizens received. For settlement of 365 appeals concreted measures have been implemented."
