Heydar Aliyev Foundation donated 5 thousand books to institutes

APA associate reports from the ceremony that President of the Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva gave information of "New school to new Azerbaijan" and "Support to education" projects, implemented by the Foundation.

She stated that last year 132 schools were built, at present 50 new schools are being built, capital repair has been implemented in 23 boarding–schools.

Mehriban Aliyeva has stated that, about 5 thousand books have been bought by the Foundation the majority of them are text-books and published in Russia and are donated to Baku State University, Economy, Languages, Medical, Slavic, Culture and Art, Architecture and Construction Pedagogical Universities, Management, Academy of Arts and Sport Academies.

Making speeches in the ceremony higher school rectors spoke of the shortcomings of the text books, success in the education and problems, expressed their gratitude to the President of the Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for donation of the text books.
