One more echelon with military supplies sent to Russia through Azerbaijan

One more echelon loaded with military supplies and equipment withdrawn from Russian 62nd military base in Akhalkalak in Georgia have been delivered to Russian military men at the Yalama station at 11:00 a.m today.

As APA reports, the echelon with military equipment and supplies arrived at the Boyuk Kasik station in Azerbaijan at 6p.m on 27 June. It passed through Azerbaijan without any incident. The echelon was protected by eight military men of the military base, Azerbaijani Interior soldiers and the ASR (The Azerbaijan State Railway) militarized group.

The echelon composed of 28 wagons carried 22 "Gvozdika" self-propelled artillery mounts, four wagons of weapons, military equipment and spare parts.

This is the seventh echelon delivered to Russia through Azerbaijan. The withdrawal of military supplies and equipment from Akhalkalak has started since 15 May this year.
