Education Ministry cancels seven majors in Azerbaijan International University

At least 300 students of the private Azerbaijan International University will not be allowed to sit in final examinations this year due to their documents being in disorder and having academic debts.

The Education Ministry Executive Office head Ilham Pirmammadov told that these students can sit in exams only in autumn. The Ministry also found such cases in the private Baku Business University, Khazar University and Azerbaijan University.

Pirmammadov also said the Ministry surveys all the private higher schools before the final examinations.

Seven majors at the Azerbaijan International University were cancelled during inspections by the Ministry. The Education Ministry did not found out illegal student admission to the university, APA reports.
