President resolves to send 5 applicants of Group I to study at European Universities

Group I is a profession field in the education system of Azerbaijan that means exact sciences, APA reports.

State Commission on Student Admission (SCSA) will hold an exam competition among those who will gain over 600 points in the entrance examinations to Azerbaijani Universities.

SCSA chairwoman Maleyka Abbaszade said that the aim of sending students to study abroad is to prepare skilled future staff for oil-gas sphere. The study of these students will be sponsored by State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic.

Saying such an innovation will also be made in the field of Master's degree, Mrs. Abbaszade noted that the state program on this sphere is expected to be adopted next year.
