08 June 2006 [08:22] - TODAY.AZ
"Right defenders of Azerbaijan accuse each other of taking bribe from prisoners to appeal Pardon Commission."

Saida Gojamanli has stated that, APA reports.

"Right defender Arzu Abdullayeva and me have raised this problem. Our compatriots did not believe it at first then they were witness of themselves that all said are true."

Right Defender Murad Shadadinov has told in his statement made to APA that there are two right defenders taking bribe.

"One of them is Saida Gojamanli and the other is Arzu Abdullayeva. They use of these persons against their compatriots after these persons released. In concrete against me and Rena Shadeddinova was a case like that. They organized protest of one person against us as if we have taken bribe, but in fact we did not do it."

Chingiz Ganizade stated that there are negative cases in the place where work is on. Azerbaijan Committee leader against Tortures, Elchin Behbudov called those claiming to name exact name.

"Generally, I do not want this issue to be discussed among right defenders, because in this case attitudes will be strained, mutual claims will appear."
