Baku-Georgia Goods train crash polluted 1,5 hectare area

1,5 hectare area has been polluted as a result of crash of goods train #2646 from Baku to Georgia in Hajigabul region Muganli station, Ministry of Ecology and Natural resources informs.

According to APA, spread of 800 tons mazut caused appearing of ponds in the depths of 15-20 cm in the territory.

It is stated in the information that the ministry associates implement preventive measures in the area. The sum of the damage is being calculated.

It should be noted that, more than 15 tank wagon turned over, the driver of the train injured. This is the third crash happening in railway within the last two months.
