Azeri kung fu fighters scoop 10 golds

Azerbaijan's national Kung fu team won ten gold and one bronze medal at the 16th world championship in Perugia, Italy.

The competition brought together 970 kung fu fighters from 57 countries, AzerTAg reports.

Senior coach Barat Isarafilov-led Azerbaijani team was comprised of 14 athletes.

In San shou (Sanda) competition, Ramil Allahverdiyev (55 kg), Arif Farmanov (55 kg) and Jeyhun Aliyev (70 kg) beat all their rivals to mount the highest step on the podium.
