Rashid Maharramov became head of Turan Football Club

Turan Football Club Managing Staff held meeting aimed at selecting president to the post which was vacant after Tahir Yusifov's resignation three days ago.

APA was told about it by executive director of Turan club Yashar Sultanov. According to him, 4 out of 7 members of Managing Staff supported Rashid Maharramov’s selection to president's post. 3 persons have supported Namiq Mastanov, who was nominated by ex-president Yusifov.

Maharramov has stated in his statement that he would be devoted to the policy of football pursued by Yusifov: "I stated in the meeting of Managing Staff that I will pursue the policy of Tahir Yusifov. Our main objective will be organizing team of local football players. However, we will do our utmost to provide condition for talented footballers."
