National Program struggle against tobacco prepared in Azerbaijan

Working Group of Coordinating Council struggle against tobacco established at Health Ministry on the initiative of World Health Organization Azerbaijan representation in 1995 has prepared a National Program struggle against tobacco.

The national program will be discussed in the ministry with participation of relevant structures.

APA informs that every year May 31 is marked as World Tobacco Struggle Day in Azerbaijan.

In this regard, a 2 day seminar is planned with participation of different ministries, organizations, non-governmental organizations representatives. Azerbaijan will also spend monthly dedicated to struggle against tobacco under the mottoes "Azerbaijan-free from tobacco".
