She told APA that the issue on granting amnesty in autumn is being discussed at today's meeting of the working group composed of government officials and NGOs representatives.
The meeting has brought together Council of Europe Parlaimentary Assembly Monitoring Committee co-rapporteurs on Azerbaijan, Andreas Gross and Andres Herkel as well.
Ms. Gojamanli also said that the working group will reconsider the amnesty before it is submitted. The rights defender reported that the next presidential pardon is due to be granted on June 15 not on 28 May.
