But she still has time to win Olympic quota place for Azerbaijan.

Danka Bartekova of Slovakia won the gold with a score of 96 (72 +24) and also an Olympic quota place for her country in the process, Indo-Asian News Service informs.

The silver was decided in a shoot-off between Christine Brinker of Germany, Chiara Cainero of Italy and Andri Eleftheriou of Cyprus who were all tied at 95 after the finals.

After Cainero and Eleftheriou both missed one target at the first attempt, the silver went to Christine Brinker. Chiara Cainero won the bronze by outdoing Eleftheriou in the following shoot-off 2-1.

For Zemfira Meftakhetdinova of Azerbaijan, the final was an anti-climax. With 74 targets, the 2000 Sydney Olympics gold medallist equalled the world record, but in the finals she completely lost her focus and missed eight targets to finish sixth.
