President was applied to pardon sentenced children

State Committee for Family, Women and Child Problems has applied to President Ilham Aliyev to pardon a group of sentenced children on the Day of 1 June - International Children's Day, the Committee chairman Hijran Huseynova has told journalists.

According to APA, so far, pardoning of children has not been practical: "We have already applied to the President. We have also concerned the problems of children, there are chances to help children."

Ms.Huseynova has stated that families of sentenced women have also problems in meeting. At present, the committee negotiates with Justice Ministry for resolving these problems.
