Azerbaijan Railways launches mass beautification initiative ahead of COP29

"Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC (ADY) held a mass beautification initiative on November 2 in the Baku railway sidings as part of preparations for COP29, Azernews reports, citing ADY.

Employees from its structural divisions and subsidiary organizations participated in the event organized at the Baku, Narimanov, Keshla, Koroglu, and Bilajari stations. Equipped with the necessary sanitary equipment, the participants engaged in activities such as cleaning and enhancing the areas, maintaining greenery, softening the bottoms of trees, and removing household waste that posed a risk to traffic safety.

The main goal of the event was to change attitudes toward environmental protection, raise awareness of environmental issues, and emphasize the importance of preserving nature.

The collected waste was properly disposed of.
