ADA Primary School hosts first Harvest Holiday

02 November 2024 [12:55] - TODAY.AZ

The first Autumn Festival—Harvest Holiday—was held at the ADA Primary School, which operates under ADA University, Azernews reports.

The Harvest Holiday is a valuable tradition in our country. The ADA Primary School instills the importance of national traditions in its students from an early age. The festival, organized with the direct participation of primary school students, included faculty, students, and staff from ADA University, numerous companies, partner organizations, philanthropists, parents, and alumni.

Organized in partnership with the Veys?lo?lu Group of Companies, the festival was memorable for its lively atmosphere and colorful stands. The market showcased various fruits, dairy products, bread, pastries, and other goods cultivated in different regions of our country. The students' handicrafts were displayed and evaluated by festival participants.

Subsequently, the products exhibited at the festival market and the students' handicrafts were sold. Since its inception, the ADA Primary School has engaged students in projects that promote them as responsible citizens. Two of these projects were chosen as winners by the students—support for orphaned children and collaboration with a neighboring school. The students voted to allocate the funds raised from sales to these two projects until the end of the academic year.

Performances by the students of ADA Primary School and a dance group from the Republican Children and Youth Development Center further enriched this charitable event with music and dance.

The aim of holding the Autumn Festival—Harvest Holiday was to bring together the ADA family and partners, encouraging our students to become responsible citizens, appreciate our values, revitalize our customs, and develop as beneficial individuals for society from an early age.

The festival, which featured philanthropic partners like the Veys?lo?lu Group of Companies, once again demonstrated that ADA Primary School embodies a new educational, intellectual, and lifestyle approach. The participation of these philanthropists, who have supported ADA University initiatives in previous years and now gather around ADA schoolchildren to support their ideas and projects, showcases a spirit of unity around social responsibility and professionalism among all of us.
