Korean IT workshop started in Baku

Workshop on studying Korean experience in the field of information technologies started in the Baku Regional Training Centre of the World Customs Organization (WCO) yesterday.

The workshop is attended by delegation led by the Researches and technologies director of the Korean Customs Service Bayk Hyun Chun, APA informs.

The SCC chair Aydin Aliyev stressed that political and economic relations with Korea were expanding and valued the workshop as significant step taken for further development of existing cooperation between the customs services of both countries. Mr.Aliyev said that SCC implemented series of important measures in the field of introduction of high information technologies and strengthening of staff potential.

Bayk Hyun Chun stressed that cooperation between the customs services of Azerbaijan and Korea would develop. According to him, by using the experience of Korea applying information technologies in the customs field since 1990, Azerbaijan will achieve simplification and automation of customs procedures.

The workshop will end on April 9.
