President ends his visit to Imishli and Ali Bayramli

After Imishli, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited to Ali Bayramli.

As APA reports, Mr. Aliyev spoke of the economic development and said that 350,000 jobs had been created during last two years.

"Poverty was 49% two years ago, but this indicator fell to 29% now. Economic growth reached 50% in early months this year. Over 300 schools were built in the country last year".

Mr. Aliyev said that if the economic growth continued like this, Azerbaijan would become developed country in a few years. Saying currency reserve of the country is $2.5bn, the President touched upon some problems".

"Unemployment is a problem in Azerbaijan. 29% poverty is a high indicator. We should try to decrease this figure. Local officials should eliminate these problems. They should cope with their work deservingly. I demand the local officials to work hard".

President said that complaints by population had decreased recently. Touching on development of the country infrastructure, Mr. Aliyev said that Ali Bayramli Water Electricity Station would be renovated. This is included to the regions' socio-economic development program.

President stated that he gave an instruction on repair of cultural places in the country. Ilham Aliyev said that minimum salary would be reached to the level meeting the demands of population.

Then Mr. Aliyev attended opening of Heydar Aliyev Museum. In Ali Bayramli, President Aliyev gave 105 apartments to martyrs' families, veterans of Karabakh, Chernobyl and the Great Patriotic War.

Then Ilham Aliyev attended cornerstone laying ceremony of Ali Bayramli treatment and Diagnosis Center.

President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Imishli and Ali Bayramli came to an end.
