Haji Magomedov's gang member Mahammad Gurbanov attempted suicide

Mahammad Gurbanov, member of the gang led by Haji Magomedov, who committed a number of grave crimes in Zagatala-Balaken region, Azerbaijan, in 2000-2002, has been imprisoned in Dagestan and taken to Azerbaijan several days ago.

Mohammad Gurbanov's family members told the Sheki-Zagatala bureau of APA that Gurbanov attempted on his life.

The family members say he suffered violence in Zagatala region Police Department and therefore, wanted to kill himself.

The injured Gurbanov was taken to Central Hospital of the region.

Head physician Mirhasan Mirbaghirov said Gurbanov attempted suicide by injuring his heart with a piece of iron. After receiving first aid he was hospitalized in Baku.
