59 schools to be renovated with the WB assistance

Serious steps have been undertaken to speed up the realization of the given project, the Education Ministry stated. Work to prepare relevant materials and equip the classrooms is now underway, Trend reports.

59 secondary schools in three regions of Azerbaijan will be fully repaired by the end of the year. Full scale repair works will start in summer 2006.

Bank's authorities is also planning to provide credits for the reformation of the sector of higher education in Azerbaijan.
