Azeri national football team to hold 2 matches with Ukraine

AFFA agreed with the Ukrainian Football Federation (UFF) on holding of friendly matches between the national teams.

The Azerbaijani team will play with the finalist of the European championship twice during 6 months, Shahin Diniyev the chief coach of the team, told Trend. The first match will be held in March in Baku, the second one prior the selection tournament of the Euro-2008.

Diniyev also said that, besides the competitions with Ukrainians, the Azerbaijani team to have four more matches prior the qualification for the European championship.
