This was told by the Chair of the Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev in a meeting of the Court-Law Council, APA reports.
R.Rzayev, speaking about the problems in the court-law system, said that sometimes separate courts appoint different punishments for the same case: "For example, a court of one region makes conditional verdict due to a person who killed another person in a traffic accident and another court sentences that person to 6 years of imprisonment. This is a very serious problem".
The Chair of the Court, saying that 27494 complaints had been addressed to the Supreme Court last year, noted that it's 4000 complaints more than the previous year.
