Imprisonment of Natig Afandiyev prolonged for 3 more months

Nasimi district court reviewed the recommendation of the Prosecutor General on elongation of the imprisonment of ex-police chief Natig Afandiyev.

The process presided by judge Hilal Mammadov made decision on prolonging the term of arrest measure on N.Afandiyev for 3 more months, APA was informed by his lawyer Vugar Khasayev. The lawyer stated that, N.Afandiyev was arrested on 30 December last year. No investigation action has been taken about him since then. Saying of the decision to be groundless, the lawyer noted that, he will file an appeal against the decision.
