Azerbaijan also banned fowl imports from Georgia

Deputy chair of State Veterinary Service under auspicious of Ministry of Agriculture Emin Shahbazov told APA that, information has spread on existence of Bird Flu in Georgia lately: "Chair of State Veterinary Service Ismayil Hasanov contacted chair of Georgian State Veterinary Department yesterday. Chair of Georgian State Veterinary Department said that, migrant birds died out in Khashure pass, but the reason is not Bird Flu." Although Bird Flu was not found in Iran and Georgia, Azerbaijan has banned fowl imports from the both countries.
