UNICEF set up campaign on collection of funds for South Caucasus countries

UNICEF set up a new campaign on collection of funds for assistance to children in 29 world countries.

Under the campaign stipulating the collection of $805m in 2006 the special attention is paid to regions such as South Caucasus and Sudan.

The organization envisages spending the third of the funds in Sudan, where civil war continues, as well as increase of assistance to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia, Trend informs.
