Exhibition of Azerbaijan to be held in New York Museum of Natural History this year

As APA reports refering to the press service of State Commission on work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad, the employee of the committee had been sent to US in order to fulfill the issues related to the opening of the exhibition and met with the initiator of the project - Tomris Azeri, president of the Azerbaijan Society of America and representative of Jewish community Erik Yevdayev.

It should be noted that after the preparatory work finish by April, the leadership of the museum will be appealed. The leadership of the museum is expected to consider the appeal in June and make appropriate decision.

Initial agreement has been reached on opening of provisional exhibition concerning Azerbaijan at the first stage. It will be decided to create and expand a permanent exhibition in future.
