Universal Postal Union to assist Azerbaijan with improvement of quality of domestic postal conveyance

The Universal Postal Union (UPU) will assist Azerbaijan with improvement of quality of domestic postal conveyance. UPU has already sent 7 motor cars to Azerbaijan for this purpose and the Union will continue its measures in this direction.

As APA reports, in general, it is intended to spend about $140 thousand for these activities.

It should be noted that UPU will also help Azerbaijan realize overland postal interchange with Georgia and Russia. It is planned to implement overland postal interchange between the countries till the end of this year. Azerbaijan currently realizes postal interchange with these countries by air.
