Students expelled from high schools stop hunger strike action

The opposition students expelled from High Schools stopped their hunger strike action on the 21 day of the strike.

Said Nuri, deputy chairman of Yeni Fikir youth organization said at press conference that, hunger strikers made the decision after the appeal of Education Minister. "The cause of that was Misir Mardanov’s words," he said on ANS TV.

"He said, they will investigate this issue and it will be positively solved if we stop the action." The statement of the Youth, Sport and Tourism Ministry on stopping the hunger strike action has also affected the youth. But they want the issue to be solved during 3 days. "We temporarily stop the hunger strike action and give them time to solve this problem immediately." Other forms of the action will be practiced if our demands are not implemented, said the youth denying the information on any political motive of the hunger striker.
