The Azerbaijan vessel PTS-201, which got aground in the area of the Urdyuk cape, 25 km away from Bautino settlement, is owned by the private company, therefore, the Caspian Shipping Company (CSC) is not responsible for the incident.

During the rescue operation carried out by the Kazakhstan side 8 people were removed from the vessel, Trend informs.

In Azerbaijan currently the vessels are owned by the Caspian Shipping Company (tankers, ferry-boats, dry cargo vessels, etc), the "Kaspmornefteflot" division of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) (vessels for oil operations), the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (research vessels) and the State Border Service of Azerbaijan. The rest of the vessels belong to private companies engaged in the fishery. These ships were detained not once in the territorial waters of the Caspian states and the state is not responsible for them.
