Azerbaijani newspapers face crisis having no money to pay to publishing house

According to the head of the Council, Aflatun Amashov the debt compiles 2 milliards manats and probably newspapers will have to apply again to the head of the state to implement extra measures to support local media.

"We should determine repay potential after being aware of their economic position and situation. The problem ought to be solved in such a way that neither newspaper editorial offices nor Azerbaijan Publishing House incur losses," said Amashov.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan Publishing House demands newspapers to repay their debts or at least freeze the debts of newspapers to this organization.
