Baku hosts the Third International Bulbul Vocal Competition with Grand Prix of $10,000

On November, 28 Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall hosted opening ceremony of the Third International Bulbul Vocal Competition.

Welcoming the guests, Azerbaijani Culture Minister Polad Bulbuloglu stated that the competition was founded and named after Prof. Bulbul by late President Heydar Aliyev’s Decree in 1997.

Then, Bulbuloglu introduced the members of jury, presided over by academician Irina Arkhipova, and described the stages and prizes of the competition, adding that Grand Prix of the festival is equal to $10,000.
