Japanese government helps Azeri culture

The Embassy of Japan to Azerbaijan reports that it has completed a grant project on assisting young talents of Azerbaijan.

This small project was part of the “Grass roots” project, funded by the government of Japan and aimed at the development of healthcare, culture and art in Azerbaijan.
Under this project with the total budget of $ 61,189 the embassy has purchased musical instruments for students of the Byul-Byul specialized musical school. Presentation on the project accomplishment will take place at the school on 27 October.

The second project undertaken by the embassy was renewal of the lighting equipment for the Opera House in Baku. Its implementation costed $ 400,000, the Embassy reported.
