25 February 2005 [16:15] - TODAY.AZ
International Global Medicine Fund will allocate 6.5 million dollars to Azerbaijan for the struggle with AIDS.
According to Galib Aliyev-director of Struggle against AIDS Center, that allocation will be spent to the purchase of drugs needed for the treatment of AIDS, holding propagandas among youths and drug addicts.

But the execution of the works considered, hasn't begun because the allocation the allocation has not been presented yet. G.Aliyev stating that the fund has helped other countries within the same matter didn't agree with the attitudes about the absence of state policy within the struggle against AIDS in Azerbaijan: "In 1996 president signed the order number 424.

By that order the state overtook the treatment and examination of those infected with AIDS. Unfortunately financial allocation for the realization of that is absent". /APA/
