Quake hits Azerbaijani sector of Caspian Sea

The earthquake measuring 3.1 points was registered 31 kilometers to the east of the Qala settlement in the Caspian Sea on April 4 at 8:51, according to a statement posted on the website of the Republican Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences on April 4.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 51 kilometers.

The tremors were not felt.
