2840 traffic accidents occurred in Azerbaijan last year.

As a result, 1160 people died, 3045 were injured.

Compared to the previous years, the number of traffic accidents dropped by 52, fatality rate by 8 and injury rate increased by 48.

194 traffic accidents occurred in December, 2013. Consequently, 99 people died, 284 were injured.

2892 road accidents occurred in 2012, in which 1168 people died, 2997 were injured.
