Taxes Ministry's monitoring shows high level of employment in Azerbaijan

Half of the facilities monitored by Azerbaijan's Taxes Ministry in January-September 2013 involve employees having not signed an employment contract, head of the Ministry's Operative Control Department Ilham Amiraliyev said in his interview to the departmental newspaper Vergil?r (Taxes).

"In January-September, the ministry monitored 8266 facilities in order to reveal employees carrying out activity without having signed an employment contract. The monitoring covered some 1207 facilities more than in 2012," the department head said.

According to him, the ministry revealed violations in 49.6 per cent of these facilities (4101). In particular, it was found that 2140 people work without signing an employment contract.
