124-year old woman to choose her president as oldest voter in presidential elections in Azerbaijan

About 500 thousand voters will participate in the October 9 presidential elections for the first time, chief of the information center of the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission Rufat Gulmammadov told the Independent Press Center. 150 voters will celebrate their birthdays on the day of elections, October 9. Female voters constitute 50.8% and male ones 49.2% of the electorate across the whole country.

It is an interesting fact that 814 voters who are aged 100 and over 100 will join this year`s elections. This year`s oldest voter is Dadashova Gozel Ali gizi, 124, who is a resident of the region of Aghdash from the Goychay-Aghdash constituency No89.
