Azerbaijan sees first snow

Snow fell in the northern region of Azerbaijan.

The Regional Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told that snow fell in the mountainous areas above 3000 m.

In the last few days, heavy rains are observed in the northern region. Most precipitation (22 mm) was recorded in Tangalti village of Guba region. Water level in the rivers rose. Water level in the river Velvelechay rose 43 cm, in Guyalchay 20cm and in other rivers 5-8 cm.
