Azerbaijan marks 'Knowledge Day' today.

141 166 pupils, from which 74 998 are boys and 66 168 are girls, went to the first class in this academic year. The current number of pupils was 135 541 last year (73 182 boys, 62 359 girls).
 
Secondary schools of Baku received 36 102 students this year. While 2 400 children with special abilities become the first class students.
 
33 745 succeeded to go to the first course of high schools this year in Azerbaijan.
