Azerbaijani population considerably upped

The population of Azerbaijan increased up to 13,1 per cent over the last 10 years, the State Census Committee reported.
 
According to the committee, the percentage of the employable population was 24,3, while the number of born children per thousand people increased up to 13,7, coefficient of the natality grew from 1,8 to 2,3 and the lifetime upped for 1,7 year during the mentioned period.
 
The number of the people coming to the country for permanent living outnumbered the quantity of the people leaving the country.
 
Pursuant to the report by the state committee, the population of Azerbaijan is 9411,8 thousand.
