Azerbaijan leads CIS states for road quality - WEF

‘According to the Global Competitiveness Report of the World Economic Forum Azerbaijan has topped other CIS countries in terms of the quality of roads,” said Javid Gurbanov, head of the country`s major road building company Azeryolservis.

He said that the Report rated the quality of road infrastructure in Armenia and Moldova as the poorest in the CIS.

“The criteria included investment in road infrastructure, construction of tunnels, the length of highways and its ratio to the population,” Gurbanov added.
