70 of 100 use Internet in Azerbaijan

Some 70 of 100 are Internet users in Azerbaijan, according to the official returns for early this year. Of them, 40.9 percent connect to the Internet at their apartments, 7.7 percent in the Internet clubs, 21.7 percent in the workplaces, 9.5 percent in the educational institutions, 0.6 percent in libraries and 19.6 percent in other places.

Some 41,2 percent of the users are the youth of under 24. Some 0.1 percent are the people up 64.
27.8 percent of the Internet users are with the higher education. The percentage of users who seek information and make contacts is much more and the number of those who seek contacts with the governmental bodies has also risen, in comparison with previous year.
