Paid highway to be laid in Azerbaijan

A new paid highway will be laid in Azerbaijan parallelly to Silk way (Baku-Georgian border).
 
According to the secretary head of the Transport ministry Namig Hasanov, the ministry is still reviewing that variant.
 
"There are paid roads all over the world. We also have such roads, but the payment to use them has not yet been defined" Hasanov noted.
 
He also added that the roads in the historical parts of Baku are planned to be made paid. It promotes to create special budget for highways and ease passenger movement.
 
Transport ministry investigates the issue to which roads implement the paid traffic.
